Approximately 1.3 billion smokers worldwide have been declared public enemies, because of the poisonous effect their passion has on other people.
Smoking brings along serious health hazards, not only for the smoker but also for the recipient of second-hand smoke. No matter the brand or labeled quality, the smoke of any cigarette contains way more than 4,000 different chemical compounds, including arsenic, cadmium, hydrocyanic acid, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, and furan. At least 50 of these elements have been proven to be carcinogens, or constitute other health hazards.
Today most countries have passed legislation prohibiting smoking in public buildings and areas, or are in process of doing so.
The craving for Nicotine is the main reason for smokers to light a cigarette. In order to satisfy their craving, smokers willingly accept the health risks related to harmful substances contained therein.

Research and development is almost completed with the final product planned to be introduced in selective pilot markets in the second quarter of 2009 and then as of 2010 rapidly introduced across the European Union. World-wide coverage is forecast to start as of the end of 2011.
Most legislation prohibits the smoking of cigarettes, cigars, or pipes, other than in designated areas, or to consume tobacco in any way that involves flames, glowing combustion or emission of tobacco smoke. It also prohibits lighting or combustion of a cigarette, cigar, or pipe tobacco etc. without actively inhaling the smoke
