Started a Manufacturer's export corporation First Dutch Europe BV and First Dutch South-Africa pty in respectively NL and South-Africa. Dealing with largeretail chains mainly placing European manufacturers Premium Labels direct into Retail in South Africa.
Asked by business partner from UK to co-venture on a tobacco innovation, Nicogel, via Nicogel Continental AG, a new type of product application and marketing, quite successfully resulting in a storm of publicity worldwide.
Most recently introducing stand-alone product innovations in consumer mass market segments, by way of application of a new transdermal-technology, so far only applied by the pharmaceutical industry. This is Transdermal Geltech - 1innovative company ltd.
Subsequently, Mr. Van Duyn was asked to set up a group of companies in Kenya-East Africa for a Swiss corporation in the early Nineties. Followed by a partnership with a Brewery in Blantyre-Malawi, CentAfric Supplies Ltd., initiator and partner in specialized FMCG Brand-Marketing of Premium Beer brands, Cigarette brands, Soft drinks and Foodstuffs. This company became the leading beer, beverage, and cigarettes importer and distributor in the region (Central Southern Africa). Returned mid 2000 to The Netherlands because of violent unrest in Malawi.
Mr. Van Duyn started off at a renowned Barter- and Counter-Trade
company in The Netherlands, following a Staff-Traineeship with
Europe's largest privately owned meat- and meat products processing
group of companies.
After this period Mr. Van Duyn was hired as Interim Manager to run a
Hungary based subsidiary of a renowned Dutch shoe manufacturer.
