The manufacturing of the Rauchless™ smokeless cigarettes is a very delicate and difficult process. Electronics and battery companies in China, Japan and Switzerland are currently cooperating with Rauchless™ R&D in Shanghai to develop integrated circuitry (IC's), high capacity mini-batteries and smaller NASA-quality pressure sensors.
The company plans to concentrate manufacturing of the sticks in China. The charger units, which typically will hold two cigarettes and a power converter, will also be produced in the Chinese republic.
The filters with the essential nicotine and various critical aromas will initially be manufactured in the European Union. However, once sales pick up and the product is introduced in wider territories and bigger countries, manufacturing will likely also be started up in North-America and Asia.
